Seabright Beach Club Will Open Saturday, May 23rd with Restrictions

May 15, 2020

Dear Members,

Finally, some good news!  This morning, Governor Murphy expanded his order regarding opening public beaches to include private beach clubs.  Please see the attachment for today’s revised order.  What does this mean?  In short, it means that we will be opening next Saturday with a number of social distancing and other restrictions in place.  These restrictions will be significant, but at least we will be able to open.  One new rule that will likely be in effect at the beginning of the summer, potentially longer, is that no guests will be able to visit our beach club.  I wanted to flag that now so people know for planning purposes.

The Board of Governors will be working through a COVID-19 compliance protocol with Clay over the weekend, and we will communicate our new guidelines to you next week.  We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we try to navigate a course that allows us to be open in a responsible manner, while also allowing all members to have an enjoyable experience when visiting the beach club.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me or any member of your Board of Governors.

Brett Lawrence, President
